NYC Public Schools will close Monday, March 16, 2020

Mayor Bill de Blasio and Schools Chancellor Richard A. Carranza today announced the City will move towards a new Remote Learning Model for all school days until Spring Recess. Students will not report to school buildings for instruction during this time. School buildings are scheduled to reopen to students following Spring Recess on Monday, April 20, 2020.

Parent Teacher Conferences will occur by phone or virtually

Parent Teacher Conferences scheduled for Thursday evening (3/12) and Friday afternoon (3/13) will still take place; however, you should not attend in person. Instead, Parent Teacher Conferences will occur by phone or virtually.

Lady Bulldogs Volleyball Season Ends on a Win!

On Saturday February 8, the MS 319 Lady Bulldogs Volleyball Team traveled to MS 302 in the Bronx to play their final match of the season vs MS 551 of the Bronx.  The Lady Bulldogs came back to claim victory after losing the 1st set 25-20 by winning the next two sets by the score of 25-19, and 25-21 in the deciding set.  The thrilling win was spearheaded by captains Brittney Vasquez(803) and Myah Ovalles(802).  Lisuiri Reyes(802), Erica Betances(801), and Estefany Rodriguez(801) made great plays to contribute to the victory.  Karolyn Sosa(821) provided clutch serves and 6th grader Audrey Ortiz(602) steady play were critical to the teams success.  Finally, Giany Delgado(702) made crucial points on her serve while sensational 7th grader Ivanna Ovalles scores the final winning point for the Bulldogs!!  The team would like to thank the parents of Kailyn Rodriguez and Audrey Ortiz who came out to support the team especially After Audrey’s mother who came to practice to help the girls become a

Lady Bulldogs basketball team won its first game

On Wednesday December 18 the Lady Bulldogs basketball team won its first game with a dominating 23-6 victory over Yorkville Middle School.  The Bulldogs were led by captains Destiny Cordova(802) 13 points 5 steals and Brittney Vasquez 6 points 8 rebounds and 3 blocks.  Ivanna Ovalles(701) scored 5 points and had 7 rebounds.  The Lady Bulldogs will resume league play in 2020 hoping to stay undefeated!!!
